Qualified candidates must have excellent communication, computer and
customer service skills.
Multi-tasking and
ability to answer multi-phone lines required.
Must be able to handle stressful situations and be flexible with
schedule.
Must be able to work without direct supervision and be detailed
oriented.
Must exhibit good Customer Service
skills and ability to work well with broad range of age groups.
Medical
terminology and/or coding a plus.
Ability
to adapt to a fast paced environment and be a team player who is willing to
adopt our “SCH Standard of Behaviors”.

Purpose:
Professionally and efficiently answers all incoming calls, transfers callers to the correct party, pages physicians and others as needed, notifies hospital staff by page, any disaster or emergency by codes and is responsible for cashiering duties.
Also to serve as the customer service liaison for all outpatients & inpatients in respect to scheduling, registration, and account questions.
