Tool & Die Maker (2nd & 3rd Shift)
Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed):
Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed):
- To safely and effectively PM, repair, and troubleshoot production tooling to meet customer requirements on assigned shifts.
Primary Objectives:
- Troubleshooting Skills
- Knowledge of Die Components and their functions
- Able to repair tool steels.
- Operate Machining Equipment
- Ability to work as part of a team to reduce tool downtime.
- Support production
Requirements:
- Experience in repairing and welding tool steels. Own all tools needed to perform necessary work. Knowledge of plant layout.
- Overhead crane certified.
- Safety minded, aware of surroundings always.
- Good Communicator with a willingness to share information.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Toolmaker Experience is a must.
- CNC Experience is nice to have, but not a big requirement since the majority of work will not involve machining.
