Spaw City Animal Hospital is a well established, state of the art hospital practicing fear free small animal medicine (dog/cat only). We are looking for someone who will fit and grow with our team.
We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Soft Tissue Laser Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, High Speed Dentistry, In-House Diagnostics, DR full body and digital dental radiology, Ultrasound, Feline Only Boarding and more.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-year experience, CVT/RVT/LVT is desired but new grads encouraged to apply.
- High work ethic and ability to multitask.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Job Requirements:
- Interpret medical records and record client history accurately.
- Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow.
- Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner.
- Proficient in sample collection (blood, urine, fecal, skin) and in house or reference lab processing.
- Skilled in hospitalized patient care and critical/emergency care.
- Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs, positioning for dental radiographs are a plus.
- Proficient in anesthesia and surgical prep and monitoring.
- A self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledge and skillset.
- Ability to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency.
All employees are responsible for sharing in cleaning animal cages and performing general housekeeping of our hospital. Monday thru Friday shifts. Weekend and evenings as needed but are very infrequent.
