General Responsibilities: The Warehouse Manager oversees receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations in compliance with the companys policies and vision.
Business/Technical Requirements:
1. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
2. Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization and stock rotation.
3. Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, supervising, evaluating, and scheduling.
4. Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
5. Train and certify forklift operators.
6. Implement operational policies and procedures.
7. Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
8. Ensure safety of staff.
9. Plan future capacity requirements.
10. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
11. Develop and maintain key performance indicators and reports.
12. Other tasks as assigned.
Behavioral/Skill Requirements:
1. Good employment standing with Master Meter with positive track record of performance/results.
2. Good written, verbal, and telephone skills (in English) demonstrating Master Meters empathetic approach to dealing with customers. Spanish language skills beneficial, but not required.
3. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
4. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
5. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
6. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
7. Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
8. Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration or 5 years experience.
11. Demonstrated positive can do/professional attitude (quick learner, hands on, etc.).
12. Physically fit; able to frequently bend and occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
13. Comfortable and effective at presenting to/training small to medium-sized groups when required.
14. Self-motivated, disciplined, honest and able to move at the required pace without direct supervision.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
