Our dental assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. Including, but not limited to:
- Prepare patients for oral examination and assist other dental professionals in providing treatment to the teeth, mouth, and gums. Use of the latest technology including digital impressions and scanning.
- Assist our board certified specialists in simple and complex oral surgery procedures. Some examples include, laser, soft tissue, single and multiple same day implant procedures. Multiple advanced surgical and healing technics are employed during surgeries.
- Daily electronic record keeping, scanning and sending of patient files to our partner labs, electronically.
- Front office tasks as assigned, including answering phones, record keeping, checking patients in and out.
Must Have The Following Skills & Attributes:
- Must work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others;
- Must keep commitments; be at work on time, keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solution (s).
- Must support the policies and goals of the practice, and thus participate in the growth and future of the company.
- Must have dental surgical background, preferably in complex soft and hard tissue surgery; including same day implant placement and fixed temporary restorations
- High school diploma, or GED. Preferred advanced certifications (EDDA), Associates degree.
- Current state required training and certifications.
