Inventory Pharmacist Responsibilities
- Complies monthly list of manufacturer backorders and alternatives to be provided to facilities.
- Monitors and addresses any recalls, notifies facilities and internal staff if pharmacy is affected.
- Helps to determine appropriate formulary for OTC, DME and EXTERNAL items to minimize inventory volume.
- Perform appropriate substitutions across all pharmacies. And ensures removal of inactive NDC’s off the shelf.
- Oversees Inventory and Purchasing for items related to IV fluids, infusion/oncology, and pharmacy supplies.
- Monitor Compounds added to formulary to ensure active NDC’s are in use and QTY is correct.
- Monitor all CCID’s, Cubex/E-kits stock and
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Inventory Pharmacist Requirements
- Active Pharmacist with NJ Board of Pharmacy a must
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be multi-tasking and reliable
- Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS
Full Time-Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm (Monday through Friday/must be flexible to work weekends)
