Spectar augmented reality allows journey-level workers in construction to take on every challenge — from understanding the design intent by seeing it in 1:1 scale on the jobsite to building using hands-free augmented reality directly from BIM without ever seeing 2-D shop drawings. Your Role

We are on a mission to build and lead a category of enterprise mixed reality for construction. We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Executive with strong customer focus and accountability, as well as experience selling technology and/or other services. You will be responsible for managing a client network and some of the most exciting projects in the PNW and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously searching for and closing new business. You will spend significant time with our customers onsite, providing support and training, documenting project usage, and networking to find the next opportunity.  The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with selling HighTech within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities for Account Executive

Execute on our Go-To-Market strategy

  • Create detailed account business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quota
  • Manage the entire sales cycle - from finding the next opportuniy, to securing the deal, onboarding and ensuring customers realize value throughout the duration of engagement
  • Uncover sales opportunities through networking and onsite demonstrations, and convert them into long term partnerships
  • Regular 1:1 customer interaction on site to enhance customer retention and drive account retention and expansion
  • Uncover new customer needs through frequent customer contact 
  • Negotiate and close agreements 
  • Keep records of sales and data
  • Manage a customer feedback pipeline in collaboration with internal teams (Product, Tech, BIM/VDC) 
  • Participate in product testing for new releases


Qualifications for Account Executive

  • Strong customer focus values and comfort in a construction environment a MUST
  • 3 years of proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
  • Track record of building strong customer relationships that result in customer satisfaction and account expansion
  • Track record of continuously surpassing sales goals
  • Track record of taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely customer service
  • A business acumen - ability to make sound decisions to arrive at the best outcome for a particular situation through clear focus, problem-solving, understanding of the business model and stakeholder needs, and being able to anticipate consequences.



Bonus points for:

2 years of experience in both commercial construction and construction tech

Intermediate experience with working with BIM - particularly Revit/Navis 

Knowledge of HubSpot
