Title: Contract Specialist - Supply Management

Description:
- This position is accountable in managing the cost and time effective procurement of all commodities related to products and services representing the business to third party suppliers as outlined in Policy. The role is responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with the business in US Market.
- The Contracts Manager will be required to negotiate legal contracts and commercials for these contracts across all categories that includes but not limited to Marketing & Advertising, Customer Service, Professional Services, GREWE and Technology. Contract manager will also be responsible for managing the M&A transaction related to procurement function and will be willing to sign the NDA for these transactions.
- Further, there will be a requirement to identify and put together business cases and plans to realize regional procurement opportunities plus support and coordinate global procurement strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring end to end delivery of market procurement strategy through to operational execution
- Be part of procurement professionals on the team to implement regional category management strategies and plans for related sourcing activity.
- Developing savings plans by developing and maintaining competitive market intelligence for all categories.
- Developing and accountable for the relationships across all Blue Box Business Unit leaders
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with M&A team and corp dev team
- Act as the coordination point for all M&A global engagements which will be project based.
- Maintain and promote Blue Box Values by ensuring that work is completed to the highest professional, legal, and regulatory standards, and that the activities subject to review/procurement comply with the Company's stated business ethics.
- Thorough understanding of contract law, sourcing strategies, supplier development and complex negotiations.
- Successfully manage time pressure, work against deadlines, and deliver strong results on schedule; prioritize based on customer or business need, urgency, and/or importance; effectively integrate and align with internal business partners.
- Handling multiple and competing priorities both internally in procurement and within the business
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of procurement experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience managing large complex contracts and commercial deals.
- Strong project management skills and financial management experience including development of CBA's, PowerPoint presentations and financial models.
- Solid knowledge and proven experience working with a cross-functional teams to develop and execute complex, time and commercial sensitive strategies
- Must be an independent self-starter and have proven ability to drive results and prioritize work activities
- Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced, and at times unstructured environment and maintain flexibility to meet the changing needs of the customer, business units.
- Experience with various eProcurement tools like Ariba, Archer, R-Portal, AXPERT, Bridger, etc will be advantageous
- Graduate degree & MBA/Post graduate degree as a plus (or relevant experience)
