What are the responsibilities and job description for the Women in Transition Clinician position at Spectrum Health Systems, Inc.?
Location: Salisbury, MA under the Essex County Sheriff Department -"Women in Transition" (WIT) Facility
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Pay rate: $50,000 annually
The Women in Transition Clinician is responsible for:
Assessing and evaluating offender needs
Monitoring offender compliance with all program and ECSD rules and regulations
Facilitating classes and group sessions as defined by the curriculum and according to Spectrum standards
Maintaining records in accordance with Spectrum and ECSD policies and procedures
Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, conferences and other meetings as directed
Providing case management services as assigned
Preparing and submitting all required reports
Serving as a role model/mentor for offenders while maintaining professional boundaries
Working cooperatively with ECSD personnel to ensure smooth operation and coordination of the program
Qualifications:
BA/MA or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education or
closely related field required
CADC or LADC preferred
Based on a mandate from Massachusetts Department of Corrections, any Spectrum employee working in a MA DOC facility or pursuant to the MOUD Contract must be fully vaccinated and no exemptions are permitted.
