Spectrum Reach is currently seeking a dynamic sales leader to manage and drive revenue in our Greenville, SC media market.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
As Local Sales Manager, you will build and lead a team of Advertising Account Executives, helping them develop multi-screen marketing initiatives for local businesses and/or their advertising agency partners across our cable TV channels as well as our advanced digital products. You will create a winning sales team by providing coaching, inspiration and management as well as developing effective sales techniques to grow key accounts. The Local Sales Manager collaborates with the Director of Media Sales to maximize pricing, sponsorships, and inventory utilization to ensure revenue goals are met/exceeded.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR…
- An outstanding leader who can develop, communicate and execute sales plans to meet revenue goals by managing a successful team of sales professionals
- An enthusiastic Sales Evangelist that can engage and inspire others
- Manage local market territory to proactively identify key accounts and growth opportunities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and implement changes as needed
- The ability to utilize available analytic research to create proposals and sales collateral
- Provide training, development, and coaching of sales techniques, account planning, account management, quantitative and qualitative research tools
- The ability to conduct presentations to advertising agencies and potential clients
- Someone who continuously works to expand their knowledge of advertising in Centers of Excellence and specialty categories
- 3 years of management experience and 5 years of advertising sales experience in cable, broadcast, radio or advanced advertising / digital media
- A Bachelor degree is required; Master’s degree preferred but equivalent training/experience will be considered
Other:
- Willingness and ability to travel as required up to 20%
- A passion for continuing professional and personal development, learning and accomplishment
- Ideal candidates will have 3 years’ experience in digital media, Advanced Advertising, data driven, impression based and programmatic media sales with a proven track record of building effective advanced advertising teams
- Prior knowledge of advertising and CRM software is preferred. (Salesforce, Strata, Scarborough, Polk, Nielsen, IAB certified, Adword certified, etc.…)
