You ensure sales teams know how to position and sell Spectrum Enterprise solutions by managing online sales enablement content in Showpad and Outreach while developing and managing our Sales Playbook. You collaborate with Learning & Development to define new hire and ongoing training requirements and strategy. You excel at translating sales methodology, product guidelines and opportunity management processes into effective sales enabling programs and supporting documentation.
You work with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, Learning & Development, Sales Operations and Product to develop and implement strategies that support our Sales Enablement tools, systems and content. You maximize department success by sourcing, hiring and training a high-performing team. You thrive in an office environment and feel comfortable traveling to conduct training and support sales professionals within a specified footprint. You report to the Senior Director of Sales Enablement for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
- Be an inspiring leader for the Sales Enablement team by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
- Plan and implement sales enablement strategies and tactical prioritization and implementation approaches by providing guidance to Regional Vice Presidents, Sales Planning, Sales Operations and other sales leaders.
- Accelerate the sales cycle through the identification of sales process opportunities that enable the sales force to focus on high value sales activities and support team production improvement initiatives.
- Drive the implementation process working with field and corporate leaders by initiating and leading cross-functional, multi-departmental development programs.
- Provide regular updates on key sales enhancing programs, to include recurring reports and presentations for senior leadership to leverage.
- Reinforce the sales strategy by guiding the design and management of a comprehensive sales enablement program that aligns with business and sales volume and revenue goals.
- Ensure the implementation and integration of existing training materials and newly developed sales enhancing initiatives through collaboration with the Learning and Development team.
Required keys for success:
- Five or more years of commercial telecommunications sales experience.
- Five or more years of team management experience.
- Five or more years of project management experience.
- Five or more years of leadership experience with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Five or more years of telephony or data industry experience.
- History of developing, communicating and implementing complex plans, strategies and tactics effectively.
- Cross-functional management skills with an ability to motivate internal and external teams.
- Solid prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Track record of effective collaboration when making decisions and resolving issues.
- Proven analytical skills, sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties.
- Self-motivated, creative thinker that can work independently.
- Knowledge of sales strategies and procedures.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
- Experience in the cable or telecommunications industry.
- Ability to view issues or needs from a salesperson’s perspective and translate big picture strategies into detailed, tactical deliverables.
- History of using or administering sales enablement systems such as Showpad and Outreach.
- Proven track record of leading a sales enablement team focused on managing sales-facing collateral in Showpad, Outreach and Sales Playbooks.
Your education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
