What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at SpeechGuru?
A family style private group practice is looking to hire a part time Speech Language Pathologist for 2 days a week in a preschool setting
· Providing speech evaluation and treatment for children with cognitive disabilities, social/emotional disabilities who also have communication needs as well as some using AAC devices
· Developing prevention activities, assessment, intervention, program design, data collection and analysis, and compliance within speech services
· Helping children access classroom curriculum by identifying the impact of disorders on the education of students and addressing personal, social/emotional, academic, and vocational needs that have an impact on attainment of educational goals
· Identifying tools and strategies to fit each child's needs to excel in a classroom setting
· Providing culturally proficient services that assist in distinguishing disorders/disabilities from other contributions/factors that inhibit language development
· Work in collaboration/partnership with school professionals, families, community, other service providers and with students to meet students' needs
· Maintaining daily notes, progress notes and writing evaluations as needed
· Attending scheduled meetings (IEP, progress and staff)

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Education:
- Master's (Required)
License/Certification:
