Research Department: The research department is the heart of the proposal-saving calculations and CAD Accuracy. In order to properly create a proposal we have to have the most up-to-date rates provided by the utility company. The same goes for our CAD Design; jurisdictions are ever-changing and our jurisdiction team ensures we are always designing to code.
Job Description: At Solo, the Research Specialist is responsible for on-boarding new customers in their active Jurisdictions and Utility Service Providers. The Research Specialist is also responsible for preparing customer specific contractor profiles and may also be responsible for creating, maintaining and working in DocuSign templates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering Jurisdiction/Utility related customer phone calls and emails
- Helping facilitate, analyze and resolve (i.e. troubleshoot) customer issues relating to Jurisdictions/Utilities
- Researching Jurisdictions/Utilities as assigned
- Expanding our Jurisdiction/Utility Database
- Conducting quarterly maintenance on all Jurisdiction/Utility Profiles
- Building out templates in DocuSign
- Filling out Building Permit Applications in DocuSign
- Always looking for ways to improve our processes
- Always looking for ways to improve customer experience
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous customer service experience
- Professional phone presence
- Ability to operate multiple software platforms
- Typing skills (40 wpm or higher)

Hours and Compensation:
- Full-time position, $16.00 - $17.25/hr, based on experience
