Spencer Hospital's Birth Center consists of 12 RNs - 2 of which are Board Certified Lactation Consultants. Our birth center supports the labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum (LDRP) model of care. We work closely with the family practice OB providers in our area along with programs such as Best Care for Better Babies and started one of the first Human Milk Depot in the state..... plus more.
Our staff also provides postoperative care of GYN patients. We also offer TOLAC - VBAC services at Spencer Hospital. Fall of 2016 was an exciting one - we opened our new state of the art Birth Center strategically placed next to the Surgical Center.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience.
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.
- IA RN license, BLS and ACLS are required.
- Previous Labor & Delivery experience required. NRP certification required.
Job Schedule:
- PRN.
- 12 hour shifts.
- Must be willing to work rotating day/night shifts.
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department.

Salary : $74,500 - $94,300
