SUMMARY– Repair Supervisor
The Repair Supervisor works with the Repair manager to ensure that team members are setup to be successful. This person will be responsible for oversight of employee’s, monitoring customer requests dashboard and shifting resources/escalating to manager if an issue is identified. This team member will act as an extension of the manger to help keep projects on time and/or cover meetings if the manger is unavailable. They will help to oversee and improve the day to day operations and facilitate on technical or logistical challenges that may be run into as well as onboarding new employee’s and setting the team up for success.
Role and Responsibilities – Primary

  • Assist in planning on upcoming project needs in regards to space and process flow, along with resource recommendations
  • Standardize processes for all tasks within Spencer’s CRM/ERP solution (“Squire”)
  • Outline proposed repair improvements including but not limited to change in material flow workshop arrangement, station instructions, resource allocation, and staging utilization
  • Evaluate and revise changes as necessary
  • Onboard and train new employee’s
  • Mentor team members and ensure a safe and fun working environment
  • Scheduling and timecard management
  • Work with Repair Manager and Director to ensure repair goals are met and on schedule
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Min 2-4 years of staging/repair experience
  • Understanding of imaging
  • Detailed oriented with ability to identify and create process improvements
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly organized; must be able to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy
  • Must be capable of prioritizing activities and scheduling to obtain effective results
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel as well as a basic understanding internal order databases management systems
  • Must be able to prioritize activities and scheduling to obtain effective results
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Experience in supervision of people is a plus, must have a “can do” attitude
