Position: Account Executive

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-time

 Responsibilities

  • Pursue 5-10 major accounts within the Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing and Hi-Tech sector. Accounts are both existing accounts and new logos
  • Act as the account lead on assigned accounts, setting the sales strategy, and taking overall responsibility for developing and nurturing the client relationship
  • Drive growth through hunting new opportunities
  • Build and manage client relationships. Manage the shaping and closure of opportunities on assigned accounts, leveraging Speridian specialists to support as necessary.
  • Specialize in the sale of enterprise solutions, consulting services, managed services, applications software, and new software license sales specifically with the Microsoft platform.
  • Prospect, acquire, develop and expand business leads
  • Generate sales and drive revenue
  • Lead customer relationships for new accounts
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies
  • Achieve short- and long-term revenue and profit growth by increasing the profitability of accounts by cross-selling service lines, including Application managed services and/or Infrastructure managed services

Experience

You have 6 years selling global on/offshore solutions and are experienced in selling large scale multiyear project-based consulting engagements, working with customer teams from lead generation to closing deals.

Proactive and practical, you will be adept at assessing customer requirements, and selecting appropriate methods to fulfil them. You will be skilled at setting priorities, establishing a systematic plan to ensure successful completion, and allocating time and resources effectively. Inside and outside Speridian, your social skills will enable you to use your network to facilitate, develop and influence.

Strong customer interface and presentation skills are needed in this role, together with a mind-set of customer service. A skillful negotiator, you will be confident acting as trusted advisor when dealing with customers’ business needs. Experience selling consulting services deals or other large-scale engagements, including meaningful offshore delivery, is a significant advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling consulting services into one or more of following sectors Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing and Hi-Tech.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working for a Global Consulting Firm, Onshore/Offshore sales with minimum of $2-4M annual quota.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling similar Service Offerings.
  • Demonstrated success selling deals in the $5 to $50M range.
  • Demonstrated consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model.
  • Knowledge of sales pipeline management, and sales and revenue quotas
  • Able to skillfully navigate through negotiation phases
  • Able to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customer's business needs
  • Proficient Proposal writing skills
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customer's business needs
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topics
  • You will have proven experience in business development, relationship building & advanced closure, and in driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing recommended; advanced degree (M.B.A. or equivalent) preferred
