Key Holder

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, service oriented and likes to have fun while they work. At Wolverine Worldwide, out Key Holders are called upon to provide customers with superior service and to create an atmosphere within the store conducive to a pleasant shopping environment. Key Holders are responsible for engaging customers by being fully knowledgable about store products and policies, operating point of sale register, accurately recording transactions and handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment, detecting theft and other security risks, and handling inventory such as merchandise and displays by moving boxes and items up to 40 pounds and climbing ladders. Responsible for executing store opening and closing procedures and providing direction to Sales Associates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations
- Supervise and train retail staff to provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control and stock replenishment
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of the POS system
- Handle cash management, including opening and closing registers and preparing deposits
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory control and sales techniques
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail software
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing inventory and paperwork
