Job Summary

A Public Accounting Firm is currently seeking an Accounting Professional with 5 years of experience to assist with multiple accounting and tax engagements for individual and commercial clients. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. The ability to juggle concurrent engagements is a must.

What makes a good Accountant?

This Accountant will have a heavy focus on Tax Preparing and must have the skills and abilities to meet with individual and business clients, and also assist in preparation of financial statements and variety of other non-attest services. This requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, proven Tax Preparation, Financial Statement, and Advanced Accounting knowledge and experience. A CPA License is preferred; commitment to obtain required.

ENTRY PAY RANGE: $50,000-$70,000

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and prepare tax returns for individual and business clients
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and variety of other non-attest services
• Assist with audit field work for local clients
• Maintain and cultivate client relationships

Must have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• CPA License preferred; commitment to obtain required
• Proven Tax Preparation experience
• Proven Financial Statement experience
• Advanced Accounting experience
• Staff Accountant experience
• Personable and able to meet one on one with clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
