Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all equipment as required.
• Operate machines and clear can jams from machines and from upper conveyors.
• Perform visual checks and check weights of product to ensure that product complies.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and support equipment
• Perform periodic machinery testing/inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency.
• Complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results.
• Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth production throughout the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and machines and practice proper safety procedures
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned

Must-Have:

• Mechanical skills
• Demonstrated involvement in safety and knowledge of safety regulations that apply to work functions.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, gauges, tools, and equipment.
• Able to safely operate production forklift.

Nice to have:

• Ability to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, etc.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Problem-solving skills through an individual and/or collaborative approach.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
