Spherion is looking for a Collections Specialist to join the team of our retail pharmacy client who has provided exceptional service to the community for over 80 years! The Collections Specialist will manage overdue accounts and ensure outstanding payments are resolved.
You will use your professional customer service skills to complete tasks while maintaining positive customer / client relationships.
Highlights :
- Temporary with the opportunity for permanent hire
- Benefits upon permanent hire : Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, paid holidays, PTO, and more are offered!
- Pay Rate : $18-20 / hr
- Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
- Onsite in Madison, WI
Responsibilities :
- Make collection calls to remind stakeholders of outstanding invoices
- Produce collection letters / notices for review by the Business Manager
- Establish good relationships with facilities to obtain information to assist with the collection process
- Make outgoing calls to insurers, responsible parties, and others to follow up on rejected claims and to garner accurate insurance information
- Assist the Business Manager with credit card payments, statement inquiries, audits, and collections
- Collaborate with co-workers to ensure all deadlines are met efficiently
- Managed care organization billing - IRIS
- Third-party insurance audits
- Create and D / C billing groups
- Monitor and take appropriate actions on assigned Veridikal Reports
- Facility cycle billing
- Assist with prior authorization collection
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1 years of related experience (an advanced degree may be considered in place of experience)
- Strong computer proficiency - pharmacy operations system experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and deliver to deadlines
