What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packing - 2nd shift position at Spherion?
We have IMMEDIATE 2nd shift openings for reliable Packing Associates in the Production area with an excellent company in Fountain Inn, SC.
The shifts are Monday-Thursday, 10-hours per day (40 hrs./wk), with occasional OT on Friday.
Must be flexible for OT, based on business needs.
2nd Shift Hours are 3:45pm-2:15am.
Pay Rate: $15.25/hour
These are TEMP-TO-HIRE positions
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus
- Basic communication in English or Spanish
- Must have reliable attendance
- Inspection experience is a PLUS
- Palletizing experience is a PLUS
- Must be able to handle repetitive tasks
- Must be able to stand on feet for a duration of 10 hours
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds
- Must be able to walk throughout the facility, bending, reaching, lifting, and twisting throughout shift
Responsibilities
- Be reliable and on-time
- Follow all safety and client guidelines
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Notify/report to leads for any out-of-spec findings
- Must be able to hand pack product and verify integrity of packaging and product
