About us:
SpineNevada is a multi-disciplinary spine center of excellence located in northern Nevada with locations in Reno, Sparks and Carson City. Our practice combines non-surgical physical medicine physicians, fellowship-trained specialists in radiology, fellowship-trained spine neurosurgeons, and internal physical therapy gyms. SpineNevada takes a team approach to spine care and has physical therapy, injection suite and X-ray capabilities under one roof. We provide all the necessary diagnostic testing and treatment in one place, eliminating the need for multiple referrals, delayed care and confusion for our patients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and assists the patient before, during, and following procedures. Prepares exam rooms for procedures.
- Exhibits a passion for serving the needs of others. Explains examination procedures in a calm and reassuring way in order to provide a positive experience for the patient.
- Provide clerical support to the department such as scheduling, faxing reports, answering phones.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and ability to learn other software as needed.
- Enters and retrieves accurate information into EMR.
- Assists with maintaining adequate supplies for efficient operations.
- Team oriented
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Observe all MR safety policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year experience in a medical office or radiology setting preferred.
- Experience with direct patient interaction preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to learn and retain technical instructions.
- Medical Assistant or Physical Therapy aide encouraged.
- CPR certification successfully obtained within ninety (90) days of employment.
- Medical terminology/radiology preferred.
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
- Lift 40lbs
- Work cohesively in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow directions, self-starter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
