Job Summary
SpineNevada is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing health care team. The position will assist the physical therapist in SpineNevada’s internal physical therapy clinic. Responsibilities will include assisting in both patient care and administrative functions. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate all exercises in any position including supine, standing, prone, side-lying and sitting with up to 10-15 lbs. of weight. A high level of professional behavior is required for the position. The physical therapy aide must place the patient’s safety, comfort, dignity and convenience before all other considerations.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient care
- Assisting the physical therapist with administrative functions
- Maintain a high level of professional behavior and desire for self development Educational Requirements include:
- * GED or High School Education

- Must have taken Anatomy and Physiology at the college level
- Must have taken Medical Terminology at the college level
- Minimum one-year experience working as a PT Aide/Medical office/hospital
- Interest in pursuing a career in the PT field and/or pursuing a degree in a Health-related field or have a B.S. Degree in a Health-related field preferred
- Exercise Physiology and/or Kinesiology at the college level preferred
- Background in structured exercise/training/sports is preferred
- PTO accrual beginning Day 1
