What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Spiral X LLC?
Spiral X, located in Fate, TX, is looking for an ideal candidate with prior experience in assembling. This will be a hands-on position with time spent in the manufacturing environment, participation in team meetings, and completing projects.
We are seeking an experienced Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Utilize hand tools for positioning parts to assist in assembly operation
- Analyze and verify parts required prior to assemble products
- Assist with organizing the shop occasionally using a forklift or pallet jack when needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company regulations / guidelines
- Wire units at low voltages and test operation of assembly to company satisfaction to ensure electrical components on unit are working before shipment Competitive pay based on experience- Paid time off after 90 days of employment.
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics
- Stable work history with good employment references
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, pluming, and/or electrical is a plus!
- Experience using a hose crimper, tube cutter, hand saw, chop saw, wire cutters for pipe threading and tube fitting
