- Field employees work to calibrate equipment, program and automate systems, and perform instrumentation and equipment work on client sites.

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for performing gas chromatographic analysis using commercially available gas chromatographic instrumentation in accordance with prescribed methods and standard operating procedures. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Responsibilities:
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word.
- Multi-tasked, organized, and detail oriented.
- Proficient English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with staff, management and clients in a professional manner.
- Able to work well in a team and has problem solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of working in a laboratory environment very helpful.

- Follow appropriate methodologies and SOP’s as required.
- Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
- Solve analysis problems as needed.
- Interpret samples and data.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by the Group leader or Department Supervisor.

Work Schedule:
This position will work 8 hours, Monday – Friday in the Kilgore, TX laboratory. This position is subject to overtime availability.
