About the role:
As a BDR Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in executing and delivering Splash’s Go-To-Market strategy in collaboration with Sales Leadership, Marketing Leadership, and all revenue-facing functions of the business. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the managing, coaching, development and hiring of the team. You will be responsible for not only the execution, but planning and operations in coordination with top-level company objectives.
Splash is headquartered in NYC with satellite offices in Phoenix, Philadelphia, Seattle and Madrid. This person would work primarily with an NYC-Sales based team, eventually helping to build out a team in Phoenix.
Responsibilities:
- Build a winning team through Attracting, Hiring and Developing the world’s best BDRs
- Enable your team to relentlessly prospect, identify and qualify sales pipeline through your coaching and mentoring on topics including: courageous qualification, prospecting techniques, phone skills, and strategic engagement with Account Executives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure we capitalize on the massive market opportunity ahead of us
- Provide actionable feedback and solutions to management to improve systems, processes and tools within the sales organization
- Optimize and industrialize how sales handles what marketing generates as well as how your team generates pipeline into cold accounts, putting instrumentation in place for constant assessment, diagnosis and required actions
- Help your team navigate some of our largest Enterprise customers in EMEA
- Join the sales leadership team early giving you the opportunity to build the BDR Program from the ground up, have high visibility to the CRO and CEO and have a major impact on the entire company
- Attend global leadership training events and strengthen your leadership muscle
Qualifications:
- A true passion for sales & technology - we want leaders who love what they do and inspire their team
- 2+ years experience selling enterprise technology in a fast-paced and competitive market, preferably in a SaaS company
- 1+ years of Sales / BDR management experience in a high-tech startup environment
- Experience building and managing a highly successful and talented BDR and/or Sales team
- Goal oriented, with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
- An enthusiastic team player who’s comfortable working with all department leaders
- Driven – possesses a strong desire to be successful and see others succeed
- A ruthless learner with a voracious curiosity around prospecting best practices and sales methodology with the aptitude to implement and scale these learnings.
- Disciplined – skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to pipeline generation and qualification
- Intelligent – possesses aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, Outreach (or equivalent), LinkedIn, Gong.io (or equivalent)
