Position Overview
As an Integrated Client Marketing Director, you will deliver creative solutions for our advertising partners across the TheStreet Finance Group and The Arena Group. You will be a collaborator and hard worker who is able to strategize based on client goals and objectives, and clearly explain how TheStreet and The Arena Group can achieve those KPIs via our digital, social, video, email, and more.
The Arena Group’s expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $110,000-150,000. Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law. The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Group’s total compensation and benefits available to its employees.
Responsibilities:
- Conceive and develop new programs, initiatives, and ad products for TheStreet
- Position TheStreet as an innovator and leader in the Finance space through sales materials
- Work across Arenas growing portfolio of brands to create the best integrated opportunities for our ad partners
- Manage RFP process from conception to completion - building compelling advertiser proposals that are customized and relevant
- Ideate and project manage branded content development, including articles, webinars, roundtables, etc.
- Develop TheStreet audience story and client and category specific insights in partnership with Research, Audience Development and Business Insights teams
- Work with Account Management team on development of client media plans to accompany proposals concepts
- Collaborate with Editorial, Account Management, Ad Ops other teams to ensure seamless implementation of sold programs
- Stay on top of finance industry trends and best practices, ensuring strong strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
- 10 years of marketing expertise including digital and social marketing
- Knowledge of/passion for finance category
- Strong understanding of content distribution and social platforms
- Candidate must be a creative thinker and problems solver with a collaborative attitude and a communicative approach to work
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft a story and represent it to leaders, team members, and advertising partners
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work on several projects at the same time while meeting required deadlines
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Familiarity with syndicated and custom research including Comscore, Google Analytics, and MRI/Simmons
