This position is available for both full and part time employees.
Purpose of Position:
- Accurately and efficiently pick items for customer orders.
- Pack customer orders and assist with the essential functions of order fulfillment.
- Maintain product inventory through put-away, restocking, and organizing.
- Support warehouse workflow through various tasks, including bagging product, collecting and baling cardboard, and stocking workstations with materials.
- Perform the general cleaning and prepping duties associated with maintaining warehouse operations.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Picking Product
Pick product for customer orders per set procedures, with accuracy and efficiency.
Packing Orders
Pack customer orders with accuracy and care.
Select packing materials appropriate for safe shipping of the product and cost effectiveness.
Racquet Service
Carefully and efficiently install strings according to racquet specifications.
Identify possible damage or defects to racquets and/or string and make an assessment of the necessary corrective action.
Repair and/or replace accessories as needed
General
Execute duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Understand resources available to locate answers to inventory questions.
Communicate with other departments when necessary regarding any inventory issues.
Assemble boxes.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Be flexible during busy times by helping fellow coworkers.
Continually learn and develop skills, procedures, and information relevant to the position.
Additional responsibilities may include participating in training clinics.
Other duties deemed necessary in the daily operations of Sports Warehouse

Work Environment:
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with standing and/or walking for prolonged
periods of time. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment, such as carts, tape guns, box cutters and technology such as computers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to
handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to
stand, walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit or climb.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift
and/or move items that weigh between 11-20 pounds, and rarely lift items that weigh between 21-50
pounds.
