About The Role:
As an integral part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will support Spot’s marketing objectives using various strategic initiatives that are tailored to our three target audiences: shippers, carriers and employees. The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record of executing a variety of marketing campaigns, demonstrates excellent organizational and writing skills, and has an eye for creative design. The candidate must be a self-starter and possess tactical, creative, and strategic insight. Attention to detail and working with a high sense of urgency are essential for this role.
The candidate will report to the Director of Marketing, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and is an individual contributor joining a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight of sales/marketing presentations for customer and prospect meetings. This includes developing and producing required assets, working collaboratively with sales representatives, the finance department, and periodically with senior leaders.
- Responsible for all corporate promotional materials. This includes management of the company apparel website, vendor management and invoicing, and developing and designing new materials.
- Works closely with the Director of Marketing to develop collateral pieces used in a variety of mediums – advertisements, proposals, newsletters, etc.
- Works closely with the Director of Marketing to execute a variety of advertising campaigns (recruitment, brand awareness, company products and services).
- Continuously audits all sales/marketing collateral and corporate presence at events (recruiting and other) to ensure brand compliance. Edits, designs, and develops new material as necessary.
- Assists with content development and design for company’s Intranet site.
- Assists with marketing email journeys and remarketing campaigns to customers.
- Works closely with the Director of Marketing to execute current strategies in place and create new strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Three to five years of proven progressive experience within a corporate B2B marketing department.
- Graphic design background is preferred.
- Previous content writing experience is preferred.
- Previous use of a marketing automation platform is preferred.
- Experience in project management, process improvement, and coordination.
Skills:
- Proficient computer skills with applications such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative under ambiguous circumstances in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication, and interpersonal presentation skills.
