**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully.
**Duties:**
- Plan and execute various types of events such as conferences, weddings, fundraisers, and corporate meetings
- Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, menu selection, timeline execution day of, vendor coordination.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses stay within the allocated budget
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and products in line with our contract.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs seamlessly
- Utilize event marketing strategies to promote events and attract attendees for member events
- Provide excellent guest services throughout the event to enhance the overall experience
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, banquet, or event planning roles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and attendees
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques for charity events is a plus
- Proficiency in upselling services or products during events is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
