Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Medical Assistant at SPRING DERMATOLOGY in Houston, TX. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including assisting with surgical and aesthetic procedures, perfoming PDT, suture removals, assisting with Mohs as needed, rooming and scribing as needed, training new staff, inventory ordering, managing medical terminology, handling medical office tasks, providing patient care, and managing medical records.
Qualifications
- Medical Assisting and Patient Care skills
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology
- Experience in Medical Office tasks
- Knowledge of managing Medical Records
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Previous experience in a dermatology setting is advantageous
