Spring EQ is seeking a Loan Processor to join our rapidly growing Home Equity team! The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience processing consumer home loans. A strong candidate will have a solid understanding of TRID requirements, proficient knowledge of loan origination technology and thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will be driven, passionate and flourish in an operational role that is extensive and dynamic.
Responsibilities
- Assist Customer Advocates in resolving 3rd party items such as verifications of employment, Homeowner’s insurance updates, title curative updates
- Communicate effectively on the phone and via email when following up on required 3rd party items
- Manage daily tasks and set follow ups until the item is resolved and in the file
- Help cover Customer Advocates pipeline while on PTO
- Basic understanding of the closing disclosure, updating fees and deliver initial CD to borrower if minimum criteria is met (Manage past due CDs sent from Tableau reporting)
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of professional working experience (customer service or mortgage preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of home loan terminology
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on loan origination / processing software’s like Blue Sage system knowledge a plus
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and efficiently manage time
- Displayed accountability with a strong track record of meeting deadlines and keeping commitments
- The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mentality with the ability to solve open ended business challenges
- The ideal candidate will enthusiastically contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- The ideal candidate will know how to collaborate with team members in a remote environment while also working independently with minimal supervision
