Registered Nurse

Spring Gardens Senior Living is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and conscientious RN to serve as the Wellness Nurse for select communities along the Wasatch Front. The communities you would be serving would be located in Lindon and Mapleton, UT. This position can either be filled by 1 FULL TIME RN OR 2 PART TIME RN'S.

Our Registered Nurses are responsible for the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of resident care for the communities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services
• Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations
• Provides activities of daily assistance to the residents as needed
• Provide training and orientation to all Caregivers and Med Techs
• Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements
• Oversee all hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of employees in the clinical department with attention paid to consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel
• Supervise and develop care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform assessments and reassessments according to policies
• Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations

Qualifications

• Positive team player attitude and love working with people
• Previous administrative experience in Senior Living preferred
• Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel, Word, and PCC
• A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, good judgment; employs professional ethics; has a pleasant manner, good communication skills, and the ability to motivate
• Background clearance through the State of Utah DACS system
