Summary:
Provides
efficient and effective communications service to administrative staff and
residents of The Ohio Masonic Community and Springfield Masonic Community by answering phones and offering assistance to visitors. This position also monitors fire alarm systems,
video/audio entry door camera system, resident alert system including pendant
and pull system, severe weather warning equipment and other such transmitters
or devices and communicates with Security and Department Supervisors and
activate alert systems as directed. Maintains knowledge of campus emergency operation plan’s policies and
procedures and complies with all communications aspects during disaster or
emergency procedures.
Requirements:
Two-year certificate from college or Technical school; or three years experience; or equivalent Combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, data base management and spreadsheets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, a sometimes stressful area, to move from one task to another with multiple interruptions.
Excellent customer service skills is required.
