Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama. Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery. The hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, meaning doctors have advanced technology to help them quickly determine a patient's health problem. Springhill's unique heart center offers state-of-the-art services all under one roof. The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
As an RN in our WOW Program (Work on Weekends) - We offer you an hourly rate of $45/hour plus a $4 night shift differential. This generous compensation package also includes paid time off, 401k, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. In this position you will be unit based and required to work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Orthopedics
Requirements:
- Current RN License and ACLS/BLS certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required.
- Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, inter-professional care team and patients, and their families.
