Columbus Springs Dublin is a 72-bed behavioral hospital located in Dublin, OH. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. At ColumbusSprings, we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives®.
The Phlebotomist serves patients by identifying the best method for retrieving blood and other specimens from patients. The Phlebotomist prepares specimens for laboratory testing and performs screening procedures. Additionally, the Phlebotomist is responsible for ensuring proper tracking and transport of all specimens. The Phlebotomist is expected to demonstrate error free work and knowledge of standard procedures, techniques and common practices.

Position Details
- Greet patients warmly and professionally at all times during interaction
- Performs blood collection procedures and related tasks
- Verifies specimen order requirements and identifying information prior to specimen collection
- Follows venipuncture procedures and displays knowledge of standard procedures, techniques and common practice areas
- Labels all specimens collected and delivers/transports them to the appropriate processing area
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification required
- CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment
Experience:
- Prior Phlebotomy experience preferred
