Delivery Driver

SPS Companies is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Delivery person for our growing Rockville, MN location. We welcome your integrity, professionalism, and diligent work ethic.

• Provide prompt and professional deliveries to our valued customers

• Provide support in filling customer orders, loading and unloading trailers and other related duties

• Full-Time, M-F, no weekends.
• Starting union wage is $19.10 per hour.
• Any offer of employment is contingent on successful completion of background screening, to include a drug screen and physical.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load and unload flatbed trailers
• Fill customer orders
• Arrange for truck, courier, and other shipments
• Receive and organize inbound material
• General cleaning and stocking of material and shelves
• Picking orders for customers using a barcode system and barcode reader
• Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and to stock material in the warehouse
• Monitoring inventory levels
• As a frontline representative of SPS, treat customers and staff with respect and kindness; be willing to go above and beyond in your effort to deliver client satisfaction.
• Local transport of plumbing and HVAC supplies to customer locations and jobsites.
• Load your truck accurately and safely.
• Unload your truck at customer locations and job sites as required.
• Be on time – it proves trustworthiness, care, and accountability.
• Adhere to Vehicle Fleet Safety Policy at all times, while obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and an acceptable driving record.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Forklift and warehouse experience preferred
• Previous use of scanner gun preferred, but not required

Position Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 70lbs on occasion
• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma/GED; or one-year related experience of training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You will train for and learn your position by shadowing other team members for the first few weeks.
