What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Project Manager position at SPX?

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer. Define and actively manage project schedules, milestones and issue lists. Review, track and prepare project reports and key performance indicators for management, clients and other stakeholders. Perform business requirements gathering and use-case discovery to define the client's solution configuration. Lead the implementation of projects working directly with the customer to support their user acceptance testing and production migration. Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, third-party vendors, partners and internal project stakeholders. Identify, define and document best practices and contribute to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements: Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Management, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or related. Experience is required (3 years with Master’s or 5 years progressive, post-Bachelor’s with Bachelor’s). Must have some experience in each of the following skills: SaaS; JIRA, Confluence; Mobile Product Implementation; Electronic payment; Business Requirement Gathering; Project Scheduling; and Transit/Fare collection domain experience.
