What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Squires Tuxedo Rental?
Squires Tuxedo Rentals is accepting applicatins for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute tuxedos to our retail stores and our wholesale accounts.
Ideal Applicant
- Will be reliable and punctual
- Will have transportation to and from work
- Will be able to operate a cargo van or box truck
- Will work with a sense of urgency
Responsibilities
- Deliver tuxedos to multiple addresses along different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load and unload
- Prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Maintain a clean vehicle
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Daytime and night-time driving required
Expectations
- Able to work full-time hours (and over-time during peak seasons)
- Have a clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug/alcohol test
- Able to lift tuxedos repeatedly in/out of truck
- Able to communicate effectively
Skills
- Valid driver’s license (Class C or higher)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
Pay Frequency:
- Bi weekly or Twice monthly
