What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer position at SRC, Inc?
SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a Part Time Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. The selected candidate will provide leadership and support of the manufacturing processes. Prior experience providing design for manufacturability (DfM) guidance and leading process failure analyses/improvement initiatives is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end development and support of prototypes, and quick-turn products
- Prepare process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Provide manufacturing estimates for new product development efforts
- Provide continuous improvement and implementation of best operational methodologies, set up DOEs, and write reports/presentations
- Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of equipment following manufacturer’s instructions and established requirements
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in and Engineering Discipline
- Experience: 10 Years of related manufacturing process experience
- Knowledge of problem reporting tools and configuration management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of industrial and military standards (e.g., IPC, ANSI, MIL)
- Able to work and make decisions autonomously and with team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred background in at least one of the following
- Experience with complex RF products and not limited to depicted processes
- Hands on experience with various component packages and PCB materials
- Experience with designing, developing and testing assembly/test fixtures
- Working knowledge of CAD Software (SolidWorks Preferred)
