Position Summary: The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Team of an Engineering Sales firm in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning field.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to understand customer needs and provide necessary sales support.
- Enter client orders into the system and coordinate with other departments to meet customer delivery requirements
- Keep detailed records of client accounts
- Triage client inquiries / complaints for quick and effective resolution
- Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or Associates Degree in Business or related field
- 2-4 years of experience working in an administrative / customer service focused capacity, or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical understanding and/or background is helpful
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity and ability to learn and work with CRM and pricing software
- Excellent written and verbal communicationsÂ
Salary : $35,000 - $45,000
