SSM Health’s Epic Training team is seeking a Manager for a remote training opportunity. Our team is focused on continuous improvement, embracing asynchronous learning, and delivering a modern and meaningful technical learning experience. This role is perfect for someone with proven success in: leading a team of training professionals, building collaborative relationships, analyzing business process changes, managing complex medium to large training projects, problem solving and communicating across all levels of the organization.
Bring your passion for implementing best practices in the design and development of learning solutions, and partner with your peers and leadership team to thoughtfully create an environment supporting team growth, navigating and overcoming obstacles, and embracing a shared goal. A background in health care and Epic is a must. Experience with asynchronous learning models, content authoring tools and learning management systems is a plus.
Our employees work remote but must be residents of Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina or Wisconsin.

Develops, manages and maintains a high quality training process and programs that support system-wide organizational initiatives.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements best practices for the design and development of learning solutions.
- Continuously evaluates learning-outcome data and modifies programs to improve effectiveness.
- Analyzes business process changes and workforce training needs.
- Manages medium to large scale projects, monitors team workload and resources.
- Recruits, hires, supervises and grows team members.
- Manages an operating expense budget.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
EXPERIENCE
- Five years' experience, with two years' in leadership
