Principle Duties & Responsibilities
• 10 direct reports; Focus on talent management and personnel development, especially efficient onboarding, and training of preventative maintenance technicians.
• Monitor and verify department payroll records and timecards.
• Direct supervision over all LT preventative maintenance service team operations, and safety and non-safety related projects.
• Demonstrate exemplary problem solving, customer orientation and positivity in most demanding situations.
• Coordinate preventative service team schedule utilizing SIS3 maintenance module.
• Strategically develop the service functions and focus them on customer satisfaction.
• Develop and extend external and internal service processes.
• Ensure that there is adequate capacity and competence for best quality field service support.
• Work in conjunction with the spare parts team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to customers. • Monitor preventative maintenance technician mission and corresponding expense reports.
• Oversee departmental tools and equipment, keep abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommend purchases, coordinate preventative maintenance team onsite tool needs.
• Comply with and enforce all company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with the sales and project teams.
• Work closely with all LT field service teams, provide support if necessary.
• Participate in continuous technical and development training.
• Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management
• Adhere to all company guidelines
Travel
- Up to 15% as needed
- Must maintain Valid Driver’s License
- Occasional overnights as necessary
Physical Requirement
• Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct normal amount of work on a computer
Education & Experience
• 2-year degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in technical or customer service.
• 4 years supervisory or management experience
• 4 years project management experience necessary
• Field service and In-House technical support experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with machine tools, lasers, and/or laser systems preferred.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite Experience; Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
