Job Description:
SUMMARY
Manage daily operations of call center office and provide direct supervision to call center staff. $20.00 per hour to start.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Decision making to resolve problems.
- Manage daily operations of call center.
- Help call center staff develop and learn new skills.
- Ensuring call center staff are scheduling appointments for the agency correctly.
- Ensuring call center staff are collecting and updating patient demographic info.
- Ensuring call center staff are verifying and entering insurance information correctly
- Ensuring call center staff are asking and transferring calls correctly
- Manage call center staff schedule and coverage.
- Attend all meetings related to call center function and quality improvement
- Knowledge and ability to perform all call center tasks
- Ability to cover for call-out, vacation, and lunch
- Supervision and evaluation of call center staff and disciplinary action when required.
- Resolving patient complaints and issues related to call center.
- Knowledge of all agency programs.
- Works closely with administration with initiatives and workflow changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Oversees call center staff and clerical staff making outbound calls.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
- Excellent word processing and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High degree of tact and discretion.
- Ability to multitask in high pace environment.
- Experience with scheduling, typing, phone, and computer skills.
- Management experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position operates in a professional health care office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
