Our services include procurement, sourcing, value analysis, contracting, inventory management, distribution, courier services, mail services, sterile inventory, and code cart management. Our team works in partnership with clinical and business teams to deliver high quality products and services at the best possible cost. POSITION OVERVIEW: Provides accurate and timely handling of medical supplies and materials as well as accuratly conducts receiveing, shipping and mail functions. This position does not directly manage any caregivers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Distribution – delivers stock and non stock supplies to all departments in-house as well as off site locations. This includes managing stock levels and organization in par (scanned and stocked by Materials) areas. Shipping and receiving – receive products into system accurately and timely as well as prepares outgoing freight. Along with shipping and receiving, a returned goods report will be managed for watching credits. Mail - Provide proper sorting, accurate deliveries and timely distribution of all SCHS mail. Customer service - Provides quality customer service by provideing timely deliveries, quick e-mail response and attentive phone coverage. Team relations - Contribute to harmonious team interaction. Take appropriate measures to ensure the success of the corporation and all of its caregivers. Attend monthly departmental meetings and be an active member providing input and suggestions (i.e., problems, accomplishments, safety, etc.). Storage - Maintain orderly storage of all warehouse, supply room, and dock locations while keeping safety a top priority. Inventory control - Particpite in accurate accounting of the distribution by picking inventory items correctly, participating in cycle and inventory counts. Safety - Focus on safety during all tasks. Works on keeping warehouse clean orderly and ready for workplace traffic. Uses proper lifting pushing and pulling techniques to prevent possible work place injuries.
