Position Summary
The Registered Nurse collects and analyzes pertinent patient data, formulates individualized plan of care, determines progress toward attainment of outcomes, coordinates the delivery of care, promotes a safe practice environment and advocates mutual respect with patients, family, staff and other health care providers.

Complies with safety regulations and use of equipment for patient care. Practices in a safe manner by creating a healthy environment and ensuring proper operation of equipment.

Assesses learning needs of the patient/family; plans, provides, evaluates & documents patient/family education. Documents learning needs and teaching methods used to provide patient and family with learning resources.
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher, Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
None required. Previous acute care nursing experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Valid Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) license. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
