Overview:
St. Croix Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a .75 FTE Med/Surg Registered Nurse. This position will work 12 hour straight day shifts 7am-7pm, including every 3rd weekend.
The Staff Registered Nurse is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all age span and for providing an environment of unsurpassed.
Staff Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Duties:
- Provides skilled nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrates personal and professional growth and competent nursing practice.
- Follows standards of nursing care as well as the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation while delivering high quality patient care.
- Communicates effectively as an advocate for internal and external customers.
- Minor responsibilities include actively participating in quality improvement on the unit.
Qualifications of the Staff Registered Nurse:
Education & Licensure:
- Current WI Registered Nurse License
- ACLS/PALS Certification required within 6 months of employment
- BLS Certification required
- Annual Fit test completed by internal Respiratory Care per OSHA requirement
- Basic ECG monitoring
Experience:
- Previous acute care experience preferred.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse people
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions
