Health Services is accepting applications for part time RN/Nursing Assistant
Instructor position. Pennington Health Services is a 70-bed skilled nursing
facility located in Thief River Falls, MN. We are deeply committed to our

salary will be dependent on previous work experience. CNA Instructor will serve as an advisor,
trainer, educator, and evaluator and will assist and support the facility
Administrator and Director of Nursing goals related to nurse aide students
training. Will be responsible for the lecture and clinicals of nurse aide
students in preparing for the Minnesota CNA state exam. The instructor will
assist in creating, revising, updating, and implementing any policies,
procedures, forms, and educational materials as related to CNA training class.
Provides instruction for Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aide certification
preferred. Candidates must
have a current, unencumbered RN license in MN. The ideal candidate will
have teaching experience, long term care experience or other nursing
administration background. An RN Certification for Nurse Aide Class Instructor
is preferred or is willing to obtain through OnTrack. We support our

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the RN is to provide direct nursing care to individuals receiving services and to monitor the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants within the assigned care center when care centers are unable to schedule regular staff. The performance of these duties must be in accordance with the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our care center, and as may be required and communicated by the Director of Nursing (DON) or Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
