Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller II to join our O'Fallon team. In this role, you will provide outstanding service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions, resolving inquiries, and promoting our banking products.
Additionally, you will offer support to your coworkers and serve as a back-up to our New Account Representatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional service by answering customer inquiries and addressing their banking needs.
- Balance and maintain a teller drawer daily, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and adherence to bank policies and procedures.
- Provide support and mentoring to Tellers, assisting with more complex transactions or customer inquiries that may require additional expertise and helping to resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Serve as a back-up to New Accounts Representatives.
- Open and / or close the branch, observing all security procedures.
- Identify and report any suspicious activity to ensure the safety and security of our customers and the bank.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1-2 years of banking or customer service and heavy cash handling experience.
- New accounts experience a plus.
- Previous supervisory experience a plus.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented and high degree of accuracy.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Outlook; Jack Henry and XP Teller a plus a plus.
- Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
