Responsibilities
Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic, creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support Ivy Brain Tumor Center’s Marketing and Communications Department. This is an opportunity to gain specialized healthcare marketing experience and join a passionate team taking measures to eradicate what is commonly referred to as the deadliest cancer known to man.
Essential Duties:
- Assists with developing of email campaigns, website copy, and social media content using tools like Loomly, Canva, MailChimp, Facebook Business Manager, and Adobe Suite
- Manages social media community engagement
- Assists with maintaining website content (WordPress)
- Supports the marketing department with day-to-day tasks, calendar management, room scheduling, printing, etc.
- Coordinates and plans internal and external events
- Assists with and reports on key performance metrics for marketing and communications activities
- Assists with implementing plans and schedules; employs project management techniques to achieve project completion on schedule and budget
- Performs other duties as assigned, including special project support
- May be required to travel 2-3 times per year and work occasional weekend events
Qualifications
Minimum Experience and Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism or related field
- 1-2 years of related experience
Additional Desired Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing social media accounts and writing for a variety of content styles including social media, web and blogs
- Experience with project management tools and software, such as Smartsheet and Asana
- Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, such as MailChimp
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be flexible when it comes to re-prioritizing tasks due to business demands
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- A critical thinker and problem solver, ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a high degree of professionalism

Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma
- Basic computer skills to include Word Excel Microsoft Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year related experience
- Knowledge of the cancer disease process and cancer treatment methods.
Salary : $15 - $20
